About the Role We are seeking motivated individuals to join our dedicated Security Team.
This position is available immediately and includes working a rotating 7 day, 24 hour roster.
the successful applicant will deal with clients, family members and visitors who may become violent, aggressive and/or suffering a mental illness.
The security officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved in accordance with the service's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities Ability to work as a team member in a multidisciplinary environment.
Ability to work in a self-directed manner and prioritise workload Adopts a customer service approach in dealing with staff, patients and visitors courteous and professional manner Demonstrated skills in communicating effectively with people Strong personal work ethic, initiative and service orientation Skills & Experience The qualified Security Guard or Trainee position based in Horsham will work with the other security team members on a 24/7 rotating roster to assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, residents, visitors, and team members of Grampians Health in accordance with Grampians Health policies and procedures.
The role includes dealing with clients, family members and visitors who may be violent, aggressive, agitated, and/or suffering a mental health illness.
The Security Trainee will be required to undertake a Cetificate 2 in Security Operations course.
