Role OverviewThe role of Security Engineering Lead is to work with Tyro's internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain security controls for systems aligned with Tyro's security strategy to protect its data, applications, and infrastructure from emerging threats & vulnerabilities. You will also be responsible for managing and driving an exceptional team of security engineers who will assist you in delivering Tyro's security vision and strategy.
You will provide strategic, operational, and tactical guidance to your team and manage day-to-day security operational activities. Additionally, you will need to provide hands-on technical expertise and advice across various areas of security technology including Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management systems, Application Security, Data Loss Prevention, and Vulnerability Management.
The role is expected to divide the work week as follows:

What you'll do:Provide Security and Technical leadership with metrics, insights, and guidance on security operational activities.Drive and own conversations with technical and business stakeholders on ensuring Tyro is able to deliver on its strategy and commitment to stakeholders.End-to-end deployment and management of enterprise class security services for our customer and corporate environments in the cloud and on-premise.Operating centralized security controls that are highly efficient through automation and provide self-service solutions to other technology teams.Subject Matter Expert and advanced technical support for issues related to the systems you help build and deploy.Be a key contributor in team planning and prioritization sessions.Uphold and contribute to Tyro's strong risk culture by complying with our policies, completing mandatory training, and identifying and managing risks within your day-to-day work.What you'll bring:Leadership abilities to develop, manage, and drive a high-performing team.
