Position OverviewWe are looking for an Endpoint Security Engineer with a strong focus on designing and deploying endpoint protection solutions.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing endpoint security technologies, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in a customer-focused environment.
Applicants must be able to secure or currently hold an Australian Federal Government Baseline Security Clearance.
Australian Citizenship is required.
Main Responsibilities Configure, manage, and monitor endpoint security tools, including anti-malware, endpoint detection and response, application control, host-based intrusion detection, and personal firewalls.Work closely with security vendors such as Sentinel One (required), as well as Microsoft, Trend Micro, McAfee, Broadcom Symantec, Crowdstrike, Carbon Black, and Airlock Digital.Collaborate with support and account teams, third-party vendors, suppliers, and clients to uphold exceptional service standards.Assist in investigating security breaches, potential threats, and compliance violations.Provide technical support and guidance for security projects, including system builds, configurations, and implementations.Support security assessments to verify compliance with client-specific security policies and industry standards.Required Skills and Qualifications At least 2 years of experience in a medium to large managed services provider or consulting organization.3+ years of experience with standard operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS), including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patching.Proven experience in implementing and managing endpoint security tools, especially Sentinel One Singularity Endpoint, as well as products like Microsoft Defender, Trend Micro Apex One, and Crowdstrike Falcon.Qualifications in Information Technology (preferably with a focus on security) or relevant industry certifications such as Security+, SSCP, Microsoft AZ-900, or SC-200.Experience in handling customer support, incident management, and escalation resolution.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI model), core infrastructure, and IT security protocols.Aware of security frameworks such as the Australian ISM, Essential 8, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF.Benefits: People-first organisationCompetitive remunerationCareer advancement opportunitiesHybrid workingIf you are interested in this role, please click 'APPLY NOW' or reach out to our team at e2 Cyber for more information.
