Security Engineer

Melbourne based - 12 months contract with likely extensions - Must have NV1 Security Clearance!Work as a Security Engineer with a leading Consulting firm on one of their Government sector projects based out of Melbourne.Responsibilities include:Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)Network SecurityVulnerability managementCloud SecurityRisk Assessment, IAMSkills required include:6 to 8 years of experience in a security engineering role.Hands-on experience with ELK SIEM, including rule creation and incident investigation.Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network security practices.Proficiency in vulnerability scanning and management tools.Extensive experience with AWS security practices and tools.In-depth understanding of risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.Expertise in IAM and RBAC, particularly with AD and EntraID.Solid understanding of Linux security.To be considered for the role, click the 'apply' button.
