The company has a collaborative and dynamic culture, where continuous improvement and the development of cutting-edge technology are at the forefront of their mission.The Role:They are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to strengthen their growing infrastructure team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the security and integrity of their ecosystem, covering cloud services, physical infrastructure, and corporate applications, which support both internal and external customers.As a Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures across their network, systems, and applications. You'll play a key role in identifying vulnerabilities, managing penetration testing, and responding to security incidents. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure security is fully integrated throughout the development lifecycle. Additionally, you'll contribute to the development of the security roadmap, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage security controls for networks, systems, and applications.Conduct vulnerability assessments and oversee penetration testing to address security weaknesses.Continuously monitor for potential security threats and investigate incidents as needed.Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and employee awareness programmes.Lead incident response activities, ensuring swift recovery and mitigation of security breaches.Provide security reporting and risk assessments to inform business decisions.Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning and execution.Skills:2+ years of experience in a security engineering role, or 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps roles with cybersecurity responsibilities.Hands-on experience with multiple operating systems and operating system security, as well as network security tools.Knowledge of security systems, including firewalls, vulnerability scanners, SIEMs, and intrusion detection systems.Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP.Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with IT teams and stakeholders.Bonus Skills & Experience:Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM).Experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or tools like Sophos.Experience in Agile environments and project management.#J-18808-Ljbffr
