ABOUT THE ROLE: Full Time & Casual Opportunities are available. Weekday and weekend shifts are available. Shifts: 6 am – 6 pm (12 hours shifts), 6 pm – 6 am (12 hours) rotating. (8 hours Monday – Friday 6 am-2 pm, 8 am-4 pm, 7 am-4 pm, 2 pm–10 pm).
$1000 sign-on bonus, $500 upon completion of 6 months of employment and another $500 upon completion of 1 year of employment.
Wilson Security is expanding in NSW, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the whole of the state. This growth has created new roles within our NSW team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.
These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Promptly respond to calls and emails, providing immediate solutions for clients.Conduct welfare checks and monitor CCTV for security.Coordinate and dispatch guards for late starts, no-shows, and alarm responses.Assist with after-hours rostering and cover drop shifts as needed.Brief Security Officers on-site requirements and maintain accurate logs.Report non-conformances to maintain quality service.Supervise Security Officers in the Site Manager's absence.Manage contractors, ensuring safety and compliance.Serve as Point-of-Contact for works commencement, access approvals, and incident resolution.Provide exceptional customer service to all clients.Encourage project teams to follow governance protocols.Monitor and report on risks and hazards.Lead emergency response, acting as Chief Fire Warden.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 2 years of experience as a site security controller or supervisor.Strong Customer Service Skills.Proactive and problem-solving mindset.Willing to support and step up as required into other roles.Ability to work well in a team or autonomously.Ability to work in a rotational roster (Nights/Days/Weekends).Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights.Previous experience in Corporate Real Estate Contracts (highly desirable).Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports.Demonstrated ability in the use of Computers and Security related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft Programs).Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods.Valid NSW Security License (including Monitoring Subclass).Crowd Control endorsement will be highly desirable.Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.Wilson Security is an employer of choice, engaging with our people both online and in person.
