Reporting to the Senior Leadership Teamin Group Supply Chain (GSC), the mission of the Sector Procurement Specialist is to deliver exceptional value through the provision of procurement expertise in performing your day-to-day duties, winning work, and driving bid and mobilization success. Responsibilities include -
Develop and lead the procurement strategy for bids relevant to complexity and value Manage the procurement process during the bid support phase from supplier identification through to contract award, including contract formation and terms negotiationPlan and manage supplier onboarding and mobilisation to meet project timelines and compliance requirements Act as procurement advisor to Sector stakeholders to enable business objectives, identify opportunities for performance improvement, value creation, and cost savingsSupport the demobilisation activity related to post project reviews, inventory and plant return and supplier decommissioningEmbrace Ventia's core values of Collaboration, Integrity, Challenge and Ingenuity in your daily workDemonstrate zero tolerance for unsafe work practices & promote a culture aligned to Ventia values Required Skills and Experience Relevant tertiary Business qualifications or equivalent work experience Demonstrated considerable experience in project procurement Strong negotiation ability with suppliers and stakeholdersExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAbout Ventia
