The opportunity The Legacy Site Closure Lead is a newly created role within our Earth & Environment (E&E) business group in Australia and will report to the E&E Operations Director.
One of our ambitions is to become the market-leading consultant in coal fired power stations and upstream/downstream oil and gas site repurposing.
You will play a critical role in achieving long-term revenue growth by leveraging the expertise of our Contaminated Land and Geo-Sciences teams.
This includes site investigations, geotechnical analysis and design, waste and containment management, detailed design and project delivery, community consultation, geochemistry, and planning and approvals, including EIA/ESIA capabilities.
You will identify, prioritise, and capture opportunities, develop winning strategies with Project Directors for major pursuits, maintain a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, promote collaboration across Earth & Environment, and build our capability in the legacy site transition and closure field.
Your time will be split as follows:
Client Relationship Management/Business Development: 50%Project Leadership/Delivery: 40%Mentoring/Coaching/Training: 10%This position offers a fantastic opportunity to lead the strategic planning and direction for a key sector at the start of a new strategic cycle.

Net Promoter Score)Thought leadership activitiesBrand building activities or client eventsAccuracy of account plansUtilisation (billability) targetAbout you You are a collaborative business development leader with a background in legacy site closure.
You will typically bring over 15 years of experience in a professional services firm, with expertise in holistic site closure.
This includes all phases of deactivation, decommissioning, decontamination, and demolition, as well as planning, approvals, and below ground remediation.
Experience working on the contractor side or with a developer is also highly valued.
You will also bring:
