We provide a unique two-to-three-year program for young people in Years 10 to 12 designed to progressively develop employability skills and achieve individualised learning goals, whilst also meeting the requirements of the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) and the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
We aim to seamlessly blend senior education and vocational training to engage young people in purposeful learning experiences with real-world industry relevance.
Job DescriptionWe are now seeking a Teacher to join our Toowoomba School and be part of our next exciting chapter as we continue to evolve and elevate to meet the needs of our young people and Industry Partners.
This role will focus on delivering Essential English.
The ability to also teach Year 12 Certificate III in Entrepreneurship and New Business would be an advantage.
This Contract role is to end Term 2 (Semester 1).
Responsibilities will include:
Delivering curriculum programs to achieve expected outcomes for young people, ensuring all assessment and compliance tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.Performing in accordance with the AITSL Professional Standards for Teachers.Contributing in a collaborative way to the planning, design, development, delivery, and evaluation of quality teaching and learning programs.Enhancing the well-being and holistic growth of young people through the development of supportive learning environments, quality communication, and effective classroom management.Creating positive and proactive relationships with young people, parents, and staff that lead to a supportive and positive College community.Desired Skills and ExperienceSkills and experience You are a skilled educator who has the ability to develop and mentor young people to succeed in an industry-driven environment.

A Bachelor's degree or higher.Current QCT Registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration.A current driver's licence.Right to Work in Australia.In addition, possession of one of the following qualifications is also required to teach Year 11 FSK20119:
A Diploma or higher in Adult Education (e.g., TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education & Training) ORCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, or TAE40110 with TAELLN411/401A and TAEASS502/502A/502B) OR#J-18808-Ljbffr
