Spare Parts Inventory Coordinator & Administrator SeaRoad is an established, successful, privately owned Australian integrated transport and logistics service provider specialising in Bass Strait shipping and logistics. SeaRoad provides quality, customer-focused services through purpose-built RoRo shipping vessels and a logistics infrastructure, which is optimally suited to Bass Strait shipping requirements.
About the role This position requires a well-organised and detail-oriented person to support the smooth running of the maintenance operations within SeaRoad Logistics Devonport. This role involves coordinating the purchasing of parts and consumables, managing work orders, and preparing data for reporting. You will provide control on all inward, outward and holding of workshop parts in the East Devonport Workshop.
You are responsible for ensuring all movements of workshop stock are both physically managed in an appropriate and timely manner, and accurately transacted within SeaRoad's Fleet Parts System – FleetIO. The key consideration of this role is to provide and maintain, for the Company, across all stakeholders a seamless operation, minimising, as far as is practicable, any disruption or risk while complying with all prevailing safety legislation and adhering to best practice safety systems of work.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following: No specific workshop or parts experience is essential, but an enthusiasm to work within a workshop environment is necessary. Proficient in computer skills, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and Transport base systems. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Experience in customer support. Good time management skills and self-discipline. Valid Drivers License – (MR / HR / HC preferred).
