Sealed Air Australia is looking for a motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Commercial Sales team. This person will be based in our Sydney, NSW office and reports to Northern Region Sales Manager. You will service, maintain and grow the customer base within the designated sales territory via sale of Sealed Air Food Care & Product Care, equipment, and systems.
You will also ensure that the sales activities present SEE as a highly professional, competent, and ethical company to our customers, targeting world-class manufacturing.
Key responsibilities include: Achieve maximum sales at highest margin returns. Service, maintain and grow designated customer base. Strong focus on developing new business sales from current and adjacent markets. Plan daily, weekly, and annual objectives and activities to maximize customer contact and effectiveness. Develop business relationships with key decision makers to further our business interests. Service customer order and delivery requirements to optimize customer satisfaction within product lead time guidelines. Maximize company profitability by margin maximization initiatives and implementation of price changes. Creation, implementation, and monitoring of progress of meaningful business plans for major/significant customers within designated territory. Maintain accurate forecasting of customer requirements via designated methods. Manage SEE inventory within company guidelines. Assist in the collection of outstanding Debtors and the enforcement of Sealed Air trading terms. Make presentations to customers and coordinate training of customer personnel as appropriate. Provide reports as requested, on time, with the accuracy and detail required for the purpose including in-plant audits. Maintain and update all record systems such as price book, Scorecards, CRM, customer files, and product releases. Maintain high standard of personal presentation and housekeeping. The ideal candidate will have: Demonstrated Food and Beverage packaging Account Management experience. Direct experience in FRM (Fresh Red Meat) market would be advantageous. Demonstrated proven ability to build and nurture customer relationships. Demonstrated history of identifying, nurturing, and securing new business. Food industry and/or plastic packaging products/equipment experience. Able to travel for short periods of time, interstate/overseas. Computer literacy in Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc. Able to demonstrate high level of decision-making skills. Have high level of strategic level planning and analytical skills. High level of communication skills. Organized and systemic thinking skills. Comfortable working in a large organization with a matrix organizational structure.
