About the Role VE Group AU Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Scraper Operator to join our projects team. You'll be working alongside a variety of civil construction machinery, including scrapers, dozers, and ADTs. We pair our operators with their machines, ensuring a dynamic work environment with ever-changing landscapes. This role offers both local and FIFO opportunities, providing room for growth as you become part of a team delivering successful construction projects. What You'll Be Doing: Operate Caterpillar 627K Scraper to compact and level materials on civil construction sites.Collaborate with a team of operators working on compactors, dozers, and other machinery to complete the job efficiently.Travel to various project locations, both local and FIFO, based on project requirements.Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure its optimal performance.Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures.Maintain detailed records of compaction work and report any operational issues.What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Scraper Operator or similar role, preferably with exposure to a variety of construction machinery.Understanding of compaction techniques and operation of heavy equipment.Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.Valid driver's license and relevant certification for heavy machinery operation.Willingness to travel where the work is and take on FIFO assignments when necessary.What We Offer: Competitive Industry RemunerationTravel allowances and LAFHA's are away work.A chance to grow with VE Group AU, working on major projects with opportunities for career development.Competitive salary and a supportive, dynamic team environment.Exposure to diverse projects across Southeast Queensland and beyond.A range of benefits to support your overall well-being.About Us: VE Group AU Pty Ltd is a leader in civil construction, known for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects.
