Scientist, Serology

We're hiring a Scientist, Serology to join our team in Melbourne.
You will deliver animal studies and serological analysis for Seqirus' SARS-CoV-2 and influenza vaccine platforms.
You will provide scientific and technical expertise for the Surveillance and Vaccine Development group to support innovation and delivery of business goals, engagement with stakeholders at a local level, and to support departmental compliance.
Additional responsibilities include driving staff development including the provision of scientific and technical guidance, and training less experienced scientists as required.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Serology you will: Undertake animal studies to support SVVD programs. Generate serology data to support SVVD programs. Provide technical guidance for group activities. Your Experience: Degree and experience in relevant discipline, post-graduate degree preferred. 3+ years' experience in relevant field/industry. Experience in virology and immunoassays preferred. Experience working with small animal models required. Experience in cell culture required. Experience and practical expertise in the areas of immunology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, analytical assay development or process development advantageous.
