About the company/role: Australia's most comprehensive laboratory services organization for therapeutic, vaccine and diagnostic development Their ultra-modern facility is easily accessible by public transport and is located not far from Melbourne CBD Permanent ongoing position Monday - Friday, standard working hours Attractive salary Duties: The purpose of this role is to provide assistance in the development, validation and conduct of immunology assays to comply with relevant standards, regulatory guidelines and SOP requirements.
Your duties may include but are not limited to: Conducting immunological assays for research, preclinical and clinical studies Operating and assisting in the development and validation of biological assays, including ELISA Handling of clinical samples Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines General laboratory housekeeping Ordering and maintaining supplies Cleaning, maintenance and calibration of lab equipment About you: Tertiary qualification of honours or higher in Biological Sciences or a related discipline 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in conducting, researching, developing and validating immunological assays – in particular ELISA Experience with handling clinical samples and working in a quality-controlled environment (such as ISO 17025, GLP or similar) Excellent communication skills Ability to work as part of a team Benefits: Easily accessible central location Supportive, passionate and fun team Career progression opportunities Industry leading and life changing projects Great renumeration package Apply!
