A clinically focussed service provides a high-level of clinical and scientific guidance that is supported by haematologists, anatomical pathologists and molecular scientists.About the roleIdeal candidates should be highly motivated, self-driven and patient-focused, holding a relevant degree and possessing experience in genetics, molecular biology and bioinformatics. Demonstrated experience in NGS data analysis, curation, implementation of software applications to enhance NGS data analysis and clinical reporting would be required.A regular day will see you:Perform routine molecular assays, analyse, interpret, curate NGS data using bioinformatics tools.Develop and assess bioinformatics workflows for next-generation sequencing (NGS) data.Comply with Pathology Quality Management.Be aware of, and comply with, NPAAC and NATA standards and other relevant standards and guidelines.About youAs the Medical Scientist Grade 2, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care.
