This position will be until the 31 December 2025, however, there is a possibility that it could become permanent.We are seeking a vibrant, passionate, dedicated and confident individual who is committed to helping our students reach their full potential.The Science Teacher will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the Science Learning Area that are inclusive of, but not limited to:Implementing effective teaching strategies to engage and challenge students of varying abilities to achieve specific learning outcomes.Fostering a stimulating, encouraging and inclusive classroom environment designed to support student growth.Planning and programming for classes within the Science Learning Area to promote learning and involvement.Assessing the performance of students in accordance with College procedures and where required, maintaining contact with parents regarding the performance and wellbeing of students.Meeting the deadlines set by the Head of Learning Area and College Executive.About You:The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism whilst supporting the Catholic ethos and values of the College. The successful applicant will also demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the current Western Australian Curriculum and will hold a tertiary qualification for Secondary Education, preferably in Science. Demonstrated experience within the Science Learning Area will be viewed favourably.
