Position: Laboratory Technician
Hillcrest Christian College invites applications for a vacant Laboratory Technician role, working in support of Science teachers and students. Duties of the Laboratory Technician include:
Preparing experimentsSetting up before classesCleaning and storing chemicals, materials, and equipment afterwardsEnsuring that all equipment is in a good state of repairTo be successful in this role, you will have: Experience in laboratory duties, preferably in an educational environmentCompetence and enthusiasm to perform the duties of the roleA willingness to work as part of a team and assist teachers and studentsAvailability to work the specified hours during school termsCurrent knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety requirementsRelevant qualifications e.g., Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or Diploma of Laboratory TechnologyBenefits: Competitive salaryFree gym on site12 weeks off during school holidays (4 paid and 8 unpaid)Friendly and supportive working environmentApplicants must be able to demonstrate a genuine commitment to the Christian ethos of CREST Education.
