The Role: We're on the hunt for a School Receptionist who's all about people and organisation!
The School Receptionist is the first point of contact many individuals have with Carey, and therefore performs a crucial marketing role. Beyond managing calls, greeting visitors, and handling inquiries, you'll play a key role in sharing what makes Carey exceptional.
Carey's Kew campus is divided into three School Sections (Junior School, Middle School and Senior School); each has their own Section Reception; we also have a Junior campus at Donvale with its own Reception.
As a member of the Admissions Team, the School Receptionist will undertake administrative duties to support the team and broader Community Engagement department.
Commencing January 2025, this is a permanent, part-time (0.6FTE) opportunity. The role is required Monday - Friday, 12:30pm - 5pm and will work through the school holidays.

The Person: To be successful in this position, you ideally:
Have previous experience in a similar position Have a knack for taking the initiative and seeing tasks through to the end Are a time-management wizard Know your way around the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Communicate with flair, both in writing and verbally Build rapport effortlessly at all levels Have an eagle eye for detail Hold confidentiality and integrity in high regard A valid Employee Working with Children Check is a requirement of employment for this position.
