The opportunity:
An opportunity exists for a psychologist to join their student services team, in a full time capacity in the 'School Psychologist' role. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced psychologist looking for an opportunity to expand their counselling skills. You will join a MDT, and will use your experience as a psychologist to guide and support the wellbeing of your student cohort. You will work alongside other allied health clinicians, education staff, and the school leadership team in your daily role.
FT or PT (Time fraction negotiable), working 8am-4pm Extended school holidays Working with secondary school aged children, on campus - counselling, assessment, intervention, working with school staff You:
You will be a fully registered psychologist with 2+ years of experience in your field. Ideally, you will have had experience working within a school setting as a counsellor or psychologist - though this is preferred and not essential. You will be a team player and an expert in best psychological practices for adolescents within your care.
Relevant tertiary qualification, and full AHPRA registration 2+ years working in a psychology role Working with children's check (or willingness to obtain) Educational and development endorsement preferred but not essential Experience working with young people very advantageous This position will commence in term 4, or at a negotiated date for the successful candidate.
