Join a team of dedicated Psychologists focused on enhancing student well-being Full-time, ongoing position commencing January 2025 An exciting opportunity to work with a team committed to making a difference About the Role We are seeking passionate Psychologists to join the team to provide consultancy, advice, assessment, counselling and guidance to students and their parents from Kindergarten to Year 12.
In this role, you will utilise your psychological expertise in education and learning to support and build the capacity of the school community toward the same goals.
It is a requirement to be registered or have provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), be eligible to hold a current membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS) or have formal counselling qualifications and experience.
This is an ongoing, full-time position, within the working hours of Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
This position will be required to provide out-of-hours student support as required/ agreed upon from time to time.
About You You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following: Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Eligible for membership with the Australian Psychologist Society (APS) Demonstrated experience working within an educational setting Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents and parents/caregivers Demonstrated clinical experience Demonstrated knowledge and application of assessment instruments and interventions Knowledge of how children and adolescents learn and the relevant developmental stages Demonstrated strong communication and collaboration skills All team members at CGS are required to have: Appropriate qualifications A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card A current National Police Check; and Full working rights within Australia.
