We are excited to offer an ongoing School Psychologist position, starting in January 2025, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student wellbeing and contribute to their educational journey.About the Role: In the role of School Psychologist at Kolbe Catholic College, you will collaborate closely with our existing Psychologist. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality counseling services to our students. Additionally, you will offer valuable guidance and support to parents and staff regarding students' progress and wellbeing. Working alongside the school's leadership team, you will actively contribute to the implementation and promotion of our comprehensive Wellbeing Program. While full time is preferred, applicants preferring part-time will be considered. Key Qualifications and Attributes: Possess the necessary qualifications and current registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA). Demonstrate a steadfast commitment to adhering to the ethical and professional guidelines set forth by AHPRA. Eligibility for membership in the Australian Psychological Society is essential. Showcase a proven track record in providing specialized counseling to students facing challenges in personal, emotional, social, behavioral, and cognitive aspects. Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Bring a genuine passion for fostering the development of children and young adults. Hold a valid Working with Children Clearance.
