School Crossing Supervisor Reliever

$39.40 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus industry allowance and 11% statutory superannuation (if applicable)
Would you like to help deliver a safe environment for our school children to carefully cross roads within our municipality?
We are seeking to appoint a number of reliable and community-focused individuals to monitor Wellington Shire's school crossings in Yarram, Maffra, and Sale to ensure the safety of our students and families and reduce the risks for children coming and going from school.
To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate an ability to understand, relate to, and communicate with young children.
You will be required to follow safety processes and road rules while supervising the crossings during the morning and afternoon shifts Monday – Friday on designated school days as required.
Please note that this position requires constant standing, frequent walking, adequate hearing, clear vision, and the ability to hold a stop traffic sign.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria below:
Good communication skills.
Ability to concentrate, be attentive, and display good temperament around young children.
Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility for self and others under your care.
Demonstrated reliability, honesty, and punctuality.
