Primary Objective As a member of the Individual Support Team, the Scheduling Assistant is responsible for ensuring services are delivered efficiently to clients on a day-to-day basis.
Key tasks of this role include: Ensuring the roster is functioning effectively and complying with relevant legislation and organisational guidelines.Accounting for and assisting with unplanned leave, short notice service requests, and assisting to solve other daily scheduling problems as they arise in peak periods.Responding to daily enquiries from Support Workers and clients regarding their service schedule.Providing a high-quality customer-centered service in a prompt and effective manner.This position works closely with Service Coordinators across the organisation and undertakes higher duties into the Service Coordination role when planned leave is scheduled.
Qualifications and Experience A relevant qualification or attained previous experience in the community service/customer service sector.Previous scheduling experience (desired).Core Competencies In addition to the above, you will need to demonstrate: Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).Ability to work in a high volume and fast-paced work environment.Demonstrated problem-solving skills.High level of customer service.Other Requirements Ability to commence at 7am daily (desired).A current C or CA class Driver's license (QLD).The successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate entitlement to work in Australia, and to disclose any pre-existing injury or disease which may be adversely affected by undertaking the inherent requirements of the position.
All offers of employment are subject to the satisfactory completion of relevant screening and background checks, including an Australian Federal Police check, an NDIS disability worker screening check, and attainment of a Blue Card for working with children prior to commencement.
