As a Packaged Gas (PG) Scheduler, you will be responsible for organizing packaged gas deliveries in a specific geographic area (region) based on optimal distribution planning and cost management, taking into account legal and operational constraints while achieving high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
You will also be a pivotal player in maintaining the transport data in the system and routing tool to ensure process optimization.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Organizes the deliveries to clients and distributors Improves the safety, quality, and efficiency of the distribution Ensures the respect of transportation regulations and AL's safety standards Monitors operational KPI for improvement and reduces the non-quality costs Identifies improvement fields by simulating new dispatch schemes with the routing tool Proposes solutions and implements them in coordination with the sales team Controls the efficiency of the routing tool Analyzes client needs in collaboration with order takers and sales teams Proposes the best solution and communicates it to order takers that will inform clients Avoids unnecessary deliveries and costs while addressing the actual needs of the clients Checks the consistency between transport invoices, planning, and execution to ensure accuracy in billing Analyzes gaps and informs the Cylinder Dispatch Manager for litigation management Are you a MATCH? 1-3 years experience in the field of transport planning and scheduling Understanding of Dangerous Goods Transport (ADG) Strong knowledge of computerized systems and programming (Excel/Google Sheets) Knowledge of logistics or freight operations Strong analytical and critical problem-solving ability Tenacity, resilience, and conflict resolution skills We OFFER: Full-time permanent role based in Sunshine, VIC Salary Continuance Insurance Local and global opportunities Employee Assistance Programs Free LPG for personal use Social groups and volunteering Stock Purchase Plan options Health and wellbeing initiatives Retail discount programs with over 350 retailers Long-term career development opportunities nationally and/or internationally across the Air Liquide Group About Air Liquide A world leader in gases, technologies, and services for Industry and Health, Air Liquide is present in 78 countries with approximately 64,500 employees and serves more than 3.8 million customers and patients.
