We support people living with Alzheimer's, dementia and cognitive decline, disabilities, post-operative care needs and older Australians. About the role Due to expansion in our Caloundra office, Right at Home is looking to recruit a Rostering/Scheduling Specialist working 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday to support a team of professionals in delivering the highest possible quality of client care. The role suits a highly-organised person with a cheerful manner who enjoys working on the phones and who has a genuine compassion for the elderly and individuals with disability. Your compassionate nature and enjoyment of helping others will optimize client satisfaction and their ability to achieve independence and improved quality of life to live life to the fullest.
The Scheduler will be responsible for: Ensuring all client shifts are filled with appropriately qualified and experienced carersFilling shifts at short notice due to carers being sick or unavailableCalling carers for late/missed shiftsAssisting with the smooth coordination of client scheduling and care requirementsAnswering telephone inquiries and responding in a timely mannerTimely and appropriate communications with our clientsCollaborating with care management and recruitment to ensure the delivery of quality careParticipating on rotation with providing 'On Call' supportGenuine empathy and interest in making a difference in the lives of people with a disability and the agedExcellent customer service, telephone manner, and interpersonal skillsEffective coordination of client requirements and schedulesHigh attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsEffective time management and organizational skillsProblem-solving skills with a can-do attitudeAbility to contribute proactively as a member of the teamA desire to foster a positive and supportive team environment
