ABOUT THE ROLE Located at Scape HQ in Sydney CBD, the Scape Safe Manager will manage the end-to-end operations of the newly developed Scape Safe Hub. Operating as a key security escalation point for 38+ operating assets, you will lead high-quality safety and incident support to the Scape portfolio and a variety of stakeholders.
This role is critical to the operational response of incident resources across all properties and champions the implementation of best practice WHS guidelines by the property teams. This is a full-time role, working 5 days a week, including some weekends and overnight shifts, with a schedule that varies but ensures two consecutive days off.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE The Scape Safe Manager is responsible for a small direct and a large indirect team, demonstrating excellent leadership skills along with fluency in safety practices, incident control and coordination, surveillance, and emergency response skills. The incumbent is expected to exercise initiative and judgment to coordinate multiple activities and teams concurrently and resolve complex issues associated with security and safety services and critical incidents. Using their leadership expertise and experience, the Scape Safe Manager is expected to resolve issues effectively and efficiently, fully utilizing their knowledge of incident services to be successful in their role.
CCTV security-related certifications and training are essential.ICAM accreditation is preferable.Proven experience in security control room operations and CCTV monitoring.Fluency in incident management and coordination is essential.Strong understanding of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and respond to security incidents swiftly.Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security-related technologies.Knowledge of vehicle tracking systems or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to such systems.Strong computer skills for incident reporting, documentation, and vehicle tracking software.Successful team members will be required to provide a valid security license, including NSW Class 1E, Working with Children Check Clearance, and Police Check.
