The role focuses on ensuring solution availability, access controls, configuration, interfaces, master data, and dashboard reporting.
This position involves working closely with Strategic Procurement, Procure to Pay (P2P), and Information Management & Technology (IM&T) teams, supporting critical reports like Senate Orders, Payment Times, and Indigenous Supplier Nation.
You will have strong knowledge of procurement and payment processes, with experience in SAP SRM, MM, and FICO modules being highly desirable.
To succeed in this role you'll need excellent communication, project coordination, and problem-solving skills to collaborate with business system owners and stakeholders, facilitating workshops and driving system enhancements to achieve business objectives.
Your duties will include:Support day-to-day operation by answering user helpdesk system enquiries.Coordinate with other service desks to maintain the issue register and provide up-to-date reporting.Assist with user access and system controls to comply with policy and procedure.Monitor exception reports and handle error logs.Investigate and raise system issues with relevant parties.Analyse new releases and inform the business area.Assist with vendor maintenance and payment issues.Carry out analysis for field and file mappings for data load or interface.Document business processes and write up business requirements.Perform analysis and advise on solution options together with recommendations.Develop test plans and perform user acceptance testing including troubleshooting and improvements.Location: Open to be based in any Australian city with a CSIRO site.
Salary: AU$96,811 - AU$109,527 plus 15.4% superannuation

To be considered you will need:Relevant trade certificate/diploma/bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience in finance or information technology as a business and system analyst in the public sector.Exposure to SAP SRM, MM & FICO modules system as a user.Excellent user support including SAP master data, transactional data, and interface.Good customer service, personal dedication, great communication, project coordination, and problem-solving skills.Desirable: Ability to use Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence.Understanding of government Procurement and Payment policy and procedure.For full details about this role please review the Position Description.
