Location: Brisbane, QLD Job Type: Full-time, Contract - Hybrid WFH Industry: Manufacturing / Operations / IT Consulting Duration: From approval task order until one month after business go-live (with potential for extension) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Lead to oversee the successful implementation and integration of SAP solutions across key business areas, with a focus on Operations, Order to Cash (OTC), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Warehouse Management .
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving SAP adoption across the organization by managing project timelines, collaborating with global and local teams, ensuring data integrity, and guiding key stakeholders through all stages of the project—from planning to post-deployment support.
This role requires a comprehensive understanding of SAP processes, especially within OTC, SCM, and plant assembly and maintenance.
While direct manufacturing experience is not mandatory, familiarity with assembly operations and plant maintenance is an advantage.
The customization is managed by an external vendor, allowing you to focus on operational excellence, ensuring successful SAP implementation across the business site.
Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end SAP implementation process, ensuring timely delivery, project alignment, and the achievement of business objectives.
Act as the main point of contact for all SAP-related activities and coordination.
Master Data Management: Oversee the collection, structuring, and alignment of master data, ensuring that global standards are adhered to, particularly around items and materials.
Stakeholder Engagement: Lead key stakeholder meetings, both internally and externally, to ensure seamless collaboration between business, technical teams, and external vendors.
User Training & Support: Develop and execute training plans for business users and key stakeholders, ensuring operational readiness, user adoption, and business continuity throughout the go-live period.
Operational Expertise: Provide insights into SAP OTC, SCM, and warehouse management processes, guiding teams in optimizing system functionality and process flows.
Go-live Leadership: Oversee go-live activities, providing hands-on support to ensure a smooth transition to SAP systems and operational alignment with global practices.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with global project teams and local departments to drive consistent communication, ensuring the integration of SAP systems across the organization enhances overall business operations.
Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience in leading large-scale SAP implementation projects, with a specific focus on operations, OTC, SCM, and warehouse management.
A strong background in project management and leadership is essential.
Master Data Expertise: Extensive experience in master data management, particularly around data collection, structuring, and alignment with global standards.
Leadership & Training: Demonstrated experience in training and leading cross-functional teams through SAP go-live and post-deployment phases, with a focus on operational readiness and user adoption.
Operational Knowledge: Deep understanding of order-to-cash, supply chain management, and warehouse management processes.
Familiarity with plant maintenance and assembly operations is advantageous.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during SAP migration and implementation.
Collaboration: Proven success in leading collaboration between external vendors, internal stakeholders, and global teams to achieve project milestones.
