Job Profile: The Digital Sales Development team guides and influences customers to take informed decisions in the early stages of their digital transformation journey by creating a world-class engagement experience. This team is responsible for building and nurturing a pipeline of sales opportunities and incremental revenue aligned with the Sales and Marketing teams.
The Digital Sales Development Intern will work with a team focused on sourcing and nurturing demand to grow SAP's Cloud ERP & LoB footprint across all industries. The intern will focus on SAP's solution area described below.
Overall Description The purpose of this position is to extend SAP's market coverage in the dedicated segment by generating new pipeline through:
Executing Targeted Outbound Campaigns via phone, chat, and email.Accelerating pipeline and increasing conversion by executing programmatic recycled and reconstituted nurturing.Nurturing leads received from other demand generation functions and progressing stalled pipeline.The Digital Sales Development Intern generates and qualifies leads through proper means, and nurtures aging leads and opportunities, eventually handing over fully qualified leads to their assigned Account Executives for further sales progress.
Responsibilities include:
Plan and execute call and e-mail activities to generate leads together with manager/expert.Support and cooperate with Field Marketing, Solution Specialists, Account Executives.Align with Sales colleagues for effective territory planning and execution.Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, phone campaigns, email actions, etc.Pass qualified leads to Sales resources for opportunity management and execution.Regularly review lead pipeline and progression, providing feedback to Marketing on campaigns.Training & Enablement: Assist in activities to enhance demand generation and product/solution skills.Participate in classroom, e-learning, virtual classroom, or mentor-led activities.Complete all enablement requested in a timely manner.Experience and other requirements: Preferably with 6 months to 1 year of experience in Demand Generation or Inside Sales environment.Preferably Digital (Remote) Experience in high volume customer-facing roles.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and writing skills.Ability to multi-task and prioritize.Strong project management and analytical skills.Fluency in English required; other languages in APAC preferred.Must be in the final year of University and graduating around end of 2025.Can work a minimum of 3 days and commit to a 6-month internship.Bring out your best SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently.
