Our client is a large government department and they are currently on the hunt for an SAP Finance Functional Analyst to join them on a 12 month contract. This role is based in Brisbane CBD + some flexible WFH on offer.
The Role: The SAP Finance Functional Analyst will manage and deliver end-to-end ERP functional capability aligned to the Finance Value Stream. It will also provide the S4 Hana Project (Services for Brisbane SfB Project) with solution assurance, SAP process knowledge and overall guidance to the System Integrator Vendor.
Key Responsibilities: Provide SAP Finance expertise in Finance process and core finance modules.Promote adoption of standard SAP.Actively contribute to S4/Hana design and configuration workshops, drive to resolution assigned tasks where required.Lead specialised cross functional task groups.Review SAP finance deliverables and artefacts within the S4/Hana Project.Establish working relationship and influence Finance Value Stream business stakeholders.Be a trusted point of contact for business stakeholders and an advocate for the ISB Group - understand business stakeholder vision, strategy, challenges, and opportunities.Deliver functional change via incremental improvements and projects.Requirements: Demonstrated understanding and experience in finance processes, cost models and budgeting including configuration of SAP S/4 Hana finance modules (e.g. FI, CO, TR, CM, IM, REFX, BPC - Budgeting Planning and Consolidation) and a good working understanding of integration points within other modules of SAP.Strong communication and collaboration skills.At least 8 years of experience in successful implementation of SAP Finance modules, and at least two S/4 Hana Projects.Certification in SAP S/4 Hana Finance Modules.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks, challenges, and opportunities related to change management.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Experience working with SAP Activate Methodology.To be considered for the role click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Emma Metzger on or email and quote the above job reference number.
