About the Role As a Senior Advanced Analytics Engineer, you will take the helm of large digital projects, providing technical direction and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the delivery of high-quality analytical solutions. Your work will directly contribute to improving business efficiency, driving cost reduction, and introducing new technologies.
Key Accountabilities: Design and develop scalable analytics and digital solutions for customers across all departments, spearheading large-scale digital projects to deliver actionable insights. Provide technical guidance to the team and organization, ensuring the application of software engineering best practices for analytics code, data engineering models, and automation. Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a customer-focused mindset and fostering collaboration with technical experts and field staff. Drive innovation through the introduction of new technologies and methods, constantly improving analytical capabilities and solving business problems. Extract insights from large, complex datasets, providing business-critical intelligence for decision-making and continuous improvement. Lead large digital projects, providing expert technical advice and guidance to internal teams and external partners, ensuring timely and successful delivery. About You Proven hands-on experience in analytics or a related field, with prior knowledge of software development experience in Python. Proven track record of leading large digital projects in complex environments. Strong skills in data science, statistical methods, machine learning, and optimization algorithms. Experience working with large volumes of data and translating insights into clear, actionable business intelligence. Proficient in SQL development (preferably Snowflake and dbt), cloud technologies (AWS preferred), containerization (Docker), and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Spotfire). Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead teams, work with external contractors, and manage delivery timelines and expectations. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of working collaboratively with engineers. Effective communicator with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a broad range of stakeholders. Ideally, you will be degree qualified in a master/bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
