This is a 2:2 roster and you will need to be based in Adelaide or Brisbane.To be considered, you will need to have a heavy background in fire, emergency response, and experience in a leadership role.Role will commence early January 2025.About the RoleYou will be reporting to the Contract Operation Manager and be responsible for supervising and coordinating with emergency response departments as required.Essential Requirements:MR/HR Drivers LicenceCertificate IV in Emergency Response Coordination and/or Certificate IV Public SafetyOpen Circuit Breathing ApparatusCert IV Firefighting (preferred)Operate 4WDRoad Accident RescueHAZMATVertical RescueConfined Space RescueAdvanced First AidCurrent Police Clearance certificateCurrent Drug and Alcohol Testing CertificateDesired Qualifications:NAFS III - Extinguishing Agent Handling LicenceInspection and servicing of Fire Extinguishers and panelsInspection, Calibration and Servicing of Gas Detection equipmentServicing of onsite Breathing Apparatus and respiratorsAviation Fire FightingCoxswainCertificate IV in Training and AssessmentAustralasian Inter-Service Incident Management System (AIIMS)About Fire and Safety Australia:Fire and Safety Australia is a leader in the provision of emergency response and safety training with a true national footprint and client base.
