Quality First Reliability Teamwork Trust About the role We have 2 x Sanitation Cleaner positions available at Edinburgh Park. Shifts are on a rotational 7-day roster between:
Monday to Friday 11:00pm - 5:00am Saturdays 3:00pm - 9:00pm or 5:00pm - 10:00pm (depending on department assigned)Shifts will be rostered 5-days within the above range of daysThe main purpose of the positions is to conduct the cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, machinery, and work areas in food processing facilities. Sanitation Cleaners are responsible for handling and preparing cleaning chemicals, preparing chemical concentrations, handling and storage of chemicals, conducting cleanliness checks and upholding Lustra's Work Health & Safety and Food Safety Systems.
Duties & Responsibilities Operate the system to clean and sanitise production equipment, tanks and pipelines.Disassemble, clean, sanitise and reassemble all equipment as needed.Carry out all sanitation practices according to company policies and applicable health regulations and laws.Adhere to Lustra's and our client's Food Safety and Food Hygiene requirements.Manual Handling of Dangerous GoodsReporting of Non-Conformance and Work Health Safety incidentsRequirements Available to work night shift Monday to Friday and afternoon shift on weekends with minimal overtime on the spot if required.Available to work weekends or a rotational roster over 7 days.Previous cleaning experience within the food environment (preferred but *not essential*)Must be physically fit.No VISA working restrictions.Comfortable with handling raw poultryChemical Awareness or the willingness to learn.Willing to work with hazardous chemicals; PPE and training provided.Be prepared to undergo medical screening.Successful candidates must agree to a Police Clearance Check prior to commencement of role.All applications must be submitted via SEEK.
