Sales & Technical Specialist - Off Hwy (Mining, Marine, Agriculture & Auto) Skip to content Sales & Technical Specialist - Off Hwy (Mining, Marine, Agriculture & Auto) Account & Relationship Management (Sales) Sales & Technical Specialist (Off Highway - Mining, Marine, Agriculture & Auto)The Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Sales & Technical Specialist for WA to join our highly successful Special Applications Off-Highway division.
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager - SOE Off-Highway, the role has a major focus on strategic growth through acquisition, while developing our business partners through product and technical solutions within the channels of Mining, Heavy Industrial, Construction and Agriculture industries.
Account Management of direct SOE Accounts located in WA.Work closely with the National Sales Manager – SOE Off-Highway in support of the overall Sales Strategy.Identify solutions and continuous improvement, with the ambition to be the customers subject specialist.Keep well-informed of any changes that may impact HELLA's position including competitor's products, technology changes or other influences.Work closely with the HELLA Planning team regarding any potential product demand changes to better support the customer, plus SOE and IAM partners.Attend industry related expos or seminars, (sometimes out of regular business hours).Administer product and programs aligned with the customer's needs.Support HA Sales strategy for growth across all product groups relative to SOE.Work closely with HA product management teams to discover new product opportunities for further growth.
Continually analyse product related data to identify key trends and business direction to mitigate and reduce any potential risks.
Align with the National Business Development Manager - Fleet to achieve first fit specification driving fleet growth initiatives and SOE partnership.Monitor competitors pricing and feed all market intelligence to the National Sales Manager and Product Manager.Develop and adhere to a territory call plan that in in-line with National Sales Manager.
Call plan must include frequency rate of all customers with strong focus on their requirements.Support the National Sales Manager SOE – Off-Highway on potential business activities that may not be relative to duties upon request.
Regular travel across the WA region.Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge:Automotive Lighting or Electrical experience is highly advantageous.Experience dealing with Mine Site is advantageous.
Excellent Networking and Relationship Management.Intermediate MS Office.Ability to develop and adhere to a call plan covering some regional and interstate travel.High level communication, problem solving and negotiation skills.Ability to work autonomously.Strong in areas of initiative, planning/organisation, time management, customer satisfaction and self -motivation.Tertiary education or equivalent industry is desirable but not mandatory.This is an exciting and challenging role for a results-oriented, self-driven professional, to join a global organisation in a period of sustained growth.
