Sales Team Leader - Permanent - Full Time / South Metro Depot (Forrestdale WA) We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead and develop a team of customer management professionals who align customer needs with Western Power's capabilities, maximizing customer relationships, and delivering outstanding customer service. This role is based at our South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters and with the latest infrastructure and technology, the depot empowers all employees to create that perfect work-life balance whilst operating in an inclusive and diverse workplace.
Your Role in Action Lead a team of customer management professionals, matching the needs of customers with Western Power capabilities, maximising customer relations and delivering outstanding customer serviceEffectively prioritise all work in accordance with customer needs and in service datesBuild a mindset of continuous improvement and innovation within your teamImplement, monitor, and report on the effectiveness of business processes and systemsImplement reporting mechanisms to monitor delivery and performance for your teamParticipate in team management meetings where progress against key performance indicators are monitored and discussed and report on your team's performanceRole modelling a safety mindset by ensuring a consistent approach to workforce training and development, providing access to appropriate systems, and supporting activities that contribute to developing a safety conscious workforceEffectively manage resources within your team including people and equipmentEffectively execute employee performance management and the ongoing development of employees, including improving your own personal effectiveness and each of the members of the teamCoach and develop direct reports to ensure they are developing to their full potential and mentor them in key people procedures (safety, human resources etc.)Develop and maintain portfolio and program dashboard reporting and regularly share insights at team management meetingsWhat Makes You a Great Fit Tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce or equivalent experienceAt least 4 to 5 years' experience in management of professional, front line, operational staffDemonstrable experience in the development of team performanceThe ability to build and maintain successful relationships, and influence multiple stakeholdersRelevant industry experience, skills, and knowledgeSound experience in leadership, influencing, communication and interpersonal skillsInteraction with others requires understanding, influencing, and supporting people, through applying technical knowledge or rational argumentsBy joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
