We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a full-time permanent Merchandise and Store Person to join our Mareeba branch to help support instore sales of our agricultural merchandise products.
About the Opportunity: Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for assisting sales and administration support, as well as ensuring orders are received and dispatched for delivery safely and on-time. Tasks are varied and will include:
Performing general administrative tasks including stock control and dispatching of goodsAssisting customers with pricing and product queriesProcessing counter salesForklift operation and on-farm deliveriesInventory controlMaintaining safety processesLoading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveriesAbout You: To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. In addition, you will demonstrate:
A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skillsExcellent attention to detailEffective verbal communication skills to build solid long-term customer relationshipsFull drivers' licence is required; a HR licence and forklift ticket is advantageousWhy work for us?
