A typical day may look like: Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers, and trade customers. The focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in-store or over the telephone whilst:
Assisting customers with pricing and product queriesProcessing sales both in-store and on-farmGeneral sales administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goodsLiaising with regional agronomists and clientsOperating soil sample equipment and using software for sample collection and testingLoading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveriesWhat we'll love about you: To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a team support/sales role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. In addition, you will demonstrate:
A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skillsExcellent attention to detailEffective verbal communication skills to build solid long-term customer relationshipsProblem-solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptlyAbility to identify ways to improve internal processesCurrent driver's licence and forklift ticket is advantageous or must be willing to obtainExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook & the ability to learn new systems quicklyWhy work for us?
