Sales Representative - Mackay

The role We are currently seeking a career focussed, positive individual with a passion for providing exceptional service to customers in the Mackay Region.
Critical to your success will be a sound understanding of the Retail and Commercial segments in the region with a general understanding of the building industry.
You will be responsible for prospecting new customers to realise growth opportunities as well as servicing an established customer base.
The role provides an exciting opportunity to be part of the Adbri Masonry team, a leading National supplier in the Australian building products market.
The successful applicant would be based at our Mackay Branch with travel as and when required to customers within the region.
Responsibilities Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained. Responsibility for the safe and professional functions of a sales office and yard. Plan take off's to suit the local Customer base requirements. Develop strategic sales initiatives to ensure sales volume growth. Ensure that relevant prospecting metrics are achieved, and activity is recorded within Salesforce. Prepare monthly sales forecasts and reports. Analyse sales and profitability of new and existing markets and segments. Maintain and grow relationships with customers across multiple channels. What you will need to succeed Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets. Exceptional communication and people skills. Ability to negotiate effectively and rationalise a sound value proposition. An enthusiastic, proactive and diligent approach to meeting customers' needs. Ability to develop technical expertise quickly and effectively within our product range.
