Apply now and be part of the "Rebirth of a Sydney Icon" with us!Job DescriptionAs our Sales & Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Director and both the sales team and marketing team members. This is a high profile role within the organisation requiring initiative, relationship building skills and the ability to multitask. Your key responsibilities will include:Handling all administrative work and ensuring the smooth running of the department.Assisting in the creation and distribution of materials when required (e.g. hotel brochures, sales kits for external promotions).Assisting in the planning of the day-to-day activities of the Senior Team as required.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of rates, packages and operational details of the hotel to handle site inspections with the hotel's client base.Assisting in the management of costs and keeping an up-to-date monthly cost ledger for the S&M department.Assisting in the preparation of monthly/weekly reports for the Director of Sales and Marketing.Assisting in the dispatch and collection of Sales and Marketing correspondence within the Hotel.Assisting the Director of Sales and Marketing with research and competitive analysis.Assisting the Director of Sales and Marketing with specified projects relating to internal/external promotions.QualificationsAptitude and willingness to undertake further development with Sofitel.Organises time and work efficiently.Effective numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.Highly organised and manages priorities efficiently.Handles tasks carefully and correctly – is thorough and exact in details with a sense of urgency balanced with a high attention to detail.Good team player; contributes to and assists co-workers without being asked.Previous administrative experience required.Additional InformationJoining our team will unlock generous local, national & international industry benefits on accommodation, dining, travel, wellbeing & more from Day 1.
