The purpose of this role is to plan, develop, direct, execute and monitor sales activities to achieve established sales targets.
The Sales Manager will lead a team of sales professionals and manage a network of partners to drive our sales for the entire Hiab portfolio.
They will work closely with services to create a strong customer experience.
Main tasks and responsibilitiesLeadership of the sales teamDevelop equipment sales budgets, KPI and plansDevelopment of key sales processesManage and develop our pipeline of orders and implement efficient use of CRM tools to support the sales workNegotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organizationPrepare and monitor sales forecast, revenues, prices, discounts, margins and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas and adaptManage a network of partners with a structured dealer management approachCoordinate together with the Service department to create joint plans, activities and dealer management to create a strong customer experienceDevelop a key understanding of competitor activities and formulate counter-strategiesTake responsibility for further developing our offering together with our Divisions.What you'll need to succeedSuitable educational background; commercial, mechanical engineer, production engineer or administrative subjects (Bachelor/academic level)A solid track record of managing sales and driving sales growthAt least 10 years of relevant business/product experience (e.g truck industry or load handling equipment) related to salesExperience in dealer management is a mustAbility to work in an international business environment/in a matrix organizationProven ability to drive and develop equipment business sales and profitabilityProven ability to develop and manage a team of sales representativesResults and achievement-driven and eager to create long-term relationshipsHigh integrity and excellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong business mindset with financial skillsFluent in English and the local language a must, all communication with customers is in the local language, and communication with Divisions is in EnglishYou will be part ofWe offer you a position in a global organisation where you are challenged with interesting and diverse tasks.
