This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Health & Benefits clients by supporting the delivery of Life Insurance advice and insurance solutions that meet agreed client outcomes within a specific portfolio with a weighting to specific industries. The role will be supported by the lead Client Director and Client Managers within the H&B team.
This is a full time opportunity based either in Sydney or Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
What the day will look like
Reporting to the team Client Director, key responsibilities will include:
Manage a portfolio of Health & Benefits clients. Grow client book through new business prospecting, in particular extending services to existing clients. Engage and negotiate with applicable Life insurance markets. Effectively use data and analytics to provide insights to clients and support marketing strategies across Life Insurance. Work collaboratively with peers in H&B and across the broader Human Capital business to support and deliver to meet client need. Design and execute client service plans to deliver superior outcomes. Facilitate strategic Life insurance claim reviews with clients and Life insurers. Develop solutions to meet client need resulting in improved client outcomes and ultimately support retention. Work collaboratively with Aon colleagues to build best in class solutions for clients. Skills and experience that will lead to success
Previous experience in Group Life insurance for a Life insurer and/or consultant/broker or similar organisation, for example superannuation fund/similar. Knowledge of employee benefits programs, in particular Group Life, including the various legislative requirements. Superior levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple client engagements across a diverse range of clients and stakeholders. Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, in-house designed databases). Superior time management and organisation skills with an ability to handle competing tasks. Exceptional communication skills to set and manage expectations at all levels both within Aon and with clients. Strong ability to be able to positively influence key decision makers.
