Vestas Australia are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking Sales Manager to join our Commercial Sales team.You will work with an enthusiastic and diverse team that is committed to accelerate the energy transition in Australia and New Zealand with our innovative and market leading solutions, which create value for our customers, society as well as for Vestas. The Sales Team for Australia and New Zealand is responsible for all sales related activities from early engagement with customers, developing our value proposition and ultimately negotiation of new contracts for wind farms.If you have the passion and skills, then take the plunge and be part of this world-changing revolution as a Sales Manager. You will work with customers and internal colleagues to create valuable solutions for some of the largest renewable energy projects in Australia and New Zealand. Responsibilities Build Vestas' relationship with customers, develop solutions to meet their needs and ensure customer satisfactionHandle the commercial contract negotiationsDevelop bid, negotiation and commercial strategies with the support of the Sales leadershipLead the sales process throughout the bidding process, ensuring timely passage through the stages of the sales processDrive a cross-functional sales team consisting of analysts, engineers, construction, procurement, and subject matter experts to create valuable solutions for Vestas and our customersCoordinate tenders and negotiations - supporting the team to close on contracts within targets for revenue and marginsContribute to continual improvement of sales processesQualifications Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, law, or finance7+ years of commercial or project management experience, ideally within wind energy, power plants, infrastructure, or the construction industryExperience with commercial negotiations in large industrial projectsUnderstanding of the commercial aspects of complex products and will be required to translate this knowledge into a contractual context.Experience with long-term sales processesBusiness insight, strategic capabilities with commercial understanding and deal-making capabilitiesTeam player, willing to learn and develop, and adaot to adapt quickly to fast changing environmentHigh integrity and credibilityInterested in working across cultures and fostering a supportive team environmentPassion for renewable energy and the energy transitionWhat We Offer A strong safety cultureDynamic and fast-paced work environmentAn opportunity to work with the world leader in wind energyThe opportunity to further develop your skills and professional development.Global career progression prospectsJoin the World's Leading Wind Energy Solutions ProviderExcellent Career Development opportunities both Nationally and GloballyA workplace that embraces Diversity and Inclusion13 weeks Paid Primary Carers Leave3 weeks Paid Secondary Carers LeaveEmployee Assistance ProgramVestas is an equal opportunity employer.
