This is the perfect opportunity for a driven individual looking to grow their career in Sales. Working in a high-volume environment amongst an experienced team, you will work closely with the Director of Sales – MICE and Director of Sales – Transient to maximise revenue opportunities across assigned market segments. You will be passionate about providing a high level of care and service to our clients and build strong relationships with potential acquisition clients.
Responsibilities Include: Managing an assigned portfolio of accounts that are allocated according to market segments through reactive sales activities Rebooking annual retention events and groups Preparing personalised submissions for all enquiries and leads, adhering to policies for quoting, negotiating and follow up Participating in promotional and entertainment activities as required (these may occur outside of business hours) Maintain the Envision database, ensuring all information is updated and accurate Ensure a high level of client service is maintained in all aspects of booking arrangements Assist with proactive sales and other duties as required by the wider Sales team Conduct benefit focused site inspections Our Ideal Candidate will possess: Demonstrated experience in a similar role in the Hotel industry The drive to develop a career within the Sales environment Experience using Opera PMS and Envision is desired Excellent organisational and time management skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Pride in personal presentation and grooming Full Australian working rights and the availability to work full-time onsite Monday to Friday
