If you are willing to roll your sleeves up and contribute to this journey, we would love to hear from you!About the Role:Reporting to the State Manager QLD, the role is responsible for the effective implementation of services offered to clients that will achieve predetermined targets and budgets for import and export Sales in relation to ANL and CMA CGM in QLD.Key responsibilities of the role will include:Undertake a proactive role in the development of sales strategies specifically looking at bringing on new clients and increasing coverage within existing client baseManage a dedicated portfolio of ANL & CMA CGM customers, provide sales and sales support services to a dedicated portfolio of existing customersDevelop products & services and in line with management directionParticipate in establishing the Commercial actions plan and ensure the agency sales' segmentation is correct and up to dateMaintain a regular program of customer interaction (scheduled phone calls) as required, to expand and or develop new business in line with targets set by the State ManagerMeet and exceed annual target set by State Manager and National Sales Director for both CMA CGM Group Services and Non-Maritime productsPromote the use of CMA CGM digital toolsTo be successful in this role, you will need:Previous experience of minimum 3 years in the shipping or related industry, preferably in a sales or customer service roleStrong proficiency in computer skills especially a strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite toolsGood commercial acumenHighly developed communication skills; both written and verbalSelf-motivated with ability to plan and co-ordinate workflows and performance effectively and without supervisionCommercial and customer-oriented approachStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to liaise with a broad spectrum of peopleThe successful candidate will be required to undergo a National Police Check (criminal history) as part of the recruitment and onboarding process.To apply for this role, you must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident.If you are a New Zealand citizen and planning to relocate permanently to Brisbane, Australia, you are more than welcome to apply.Please note that remote working from overseas and interstate locations will not be considered.Why join CMA CGM?We are continuously striving to provide new opportunities and benefits that make our business a great place to work, but the truth is that it's our people who make us want to come to work every day.
