Estimator | Volume Homebuilder | South Brisbane A highly reputable volume homebuilder in South Brisbane is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team.
This role offers the chance to be part of a large, dynamic team and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality homes on newly developed land parcels across the region.
Role Overview:Collaborate with the development and construction teams on residential projectsWork with trades and supervisors to ensure precise and accurate estimationsEstimate projects both in-office and on-site as neededFoster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other industry stakeholdersKey Responsibilities:Assisting Sales Consultants by explaining pricing structures as required.Providing accurate pricing for client-requested variations, color selections, and tenders both before and after deposits are made.Supporting Client Services, Drafting, and Sales teams with pricing, sales, and technical expertise.Finalizing and consolidating all pricing details for clarity and accuracy.Building and maintaining positive, collaborative relationships within the business.Staying current with advancements in estimating software and methodologies.Collaborating with development and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.Partnering with trades and supervisors to produce accurate and detailed estimates.Estimating projects both from the office and on-site as needed.Cultivating strong connections with clients, suppliers, and key industry stakeholders.To be successful in this role, you will have:Relevant qualifications in Residential Building, a Diploma in Building Studies, or a Diploma in Estimating/Quantity Surveying (preferred).At least a year of experience as a Sales Estimator within the residential project home sector.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of commercial principles.Proven experience in preparing quotations and pricing variations.Knowledge of contract variation processes.A clear understanding of the Sales and Production Estimating processes in residential construction.Proficiency in Framework or similar estimating software.What's on Offer:A full pipeline of work and a supportive construction management teamOpportunities to work on exciting and diverse residential projectsPlease call Miller Langford-Ely on 0466 806 871 for more information or email your CV to ******.
