Sales Engineer - Cyber Security

As the Sales Engineer, you will be developing the cyber security arm of the business within the mining, energy, technology, and utilities sectors.

Austcorp Executive is partnering with an ASX listed technology and industrial automation company that specializes in providing hardware and digital solutions to tier one operators across Mining, Energy, and Utilities sectors.

The role we are recruiting for is a Sales Engineer of Cybersecurity .
This person will manage existing accounts with EPCM clients as well as develop new business with prospective customers in WA.

As the Sales Engineer of Cybersecurity, your tasks will include:
Manage a full sales life-cycle with tier one EPCM's/End Users in the Mining, Energy, and Utilities space for Western Australia.
Develop and build the Cybersecurity arm of the business within the OT Industrial Automation sector.
Educate the client/customers on cybersecurity weaknesses and areas of development through their existing operating plant infrastructure.
Take technical sales briefs, by understanding the process, applications, instrumentation, hardware, and software that is operating.
There are already warm relationships, networks, and accounts established - your task is to navigate to the key decision makers for Cyber Security and take a consultative sales engineering approach.
Your professional background will include:
A degree in Process Control, Computer Science, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering – highly desirable.
A proven track record in Cybersecurity consulting, engineering, or sales.
Experience working with tier one clients for mining, oil and gas, utilities, or technology/manufacturing.
This is not a junior position; 4-5 years post-graduate industry experience minimum.
Experience with process control in the Operational Technology/Industrial Automation space.
This is a Perth-based role Monday-Friday; your clients will be operating predominantly in the Perth CBD – there is rarely a physical requirement to go to a site.
