Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead and drive the product management and strategic sales direction of our organisation. As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and expanding our market presence. This is a pivotal role requiring strong leadership, business acumen, and a passion for achieving exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the Product Management Team and our key supplier relationships.
Develop and implement the overall sales strategy in line with the company's goals and objectives.
Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market share through strategic planning and relationship building.
Foster strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
Analyse sales performance data to inform decision-making and adjust strategies as needed.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Operations) to ensure seamless service delivery.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging markets to maintain CAPS Australia's competitive edge.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and budgets for senior management.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, sales or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a sales director or in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in industrial equipment or a related field.
Strong track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing sales team.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
