Sales/Despatch Administration Assistant

A leading Building Supplies Company based in Toowoomba has a job vacancy for a Sales/Despatch Administration Assistant. The company produces and distributes metal building products and associated accessories to the commercial and residential building industries and suppliers. Products include but are not limited to fencing, flashings, guttering, wall & roofing sheets, and structural purlins.An exciting opportunity to liaise with account clients and cash sale clients offering advice for all their steel building requirements. Building or trade background preferred; onsite training will be provided.Your responsibilities being a key team member will include but are not limited to:Interact with our customers to ensure quality customer service through good communication and attention to detail.Ensure quality customer service is provided at all times, ensuring accurate information is provided to both account holders and cash sale clients.Assist with client enquiries via telephone or over the front counter.Assist with quote preparation and vetting of orders as required.Follow up quotes for orders and pricing information.Assist the Sales/Despatch Manager with any tasks requested.You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with other team members and clients.The ability to multitask effectively while still meeting timelines.A commitment to a safe working environment.Be self-motivated with the ability to adapt as necessary as tasks are presented.If you believe you have the knowledge and skills to fulfill this position, we'd love to hear from you!
