Sales Consultant – Darwin, Northern Territory

We are hiring immediately for a Sales Consultant - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.
The Role
Aggreko are currently looking for a Sales Consultant to join our Sales team in Darwin, Northern Territory. Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, this role will be a key part of our business as you'll be responsible for continuing to strengthen our existing client base while looking for new business opportunities, in supplying modular power and energy service solutions in the Mining, Building, Construction and Utility Sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, establish and manage existing and new major key account business opportunities within the region
Manage and grow revenue in key accounts, by becoming an integral part of the key accounts business
Deliver key presentations for major opportunities to existing and potential Aggreko customers
Focus on transactional business customers and grow the customer base and their share of wallet, in the short term rental segment
Ensure all information for administrative tasks are completed including financials, invoicing and reports are on time and in line with policy and procedures
Maintain market awareness for opportunities, major projects, market trends, new products and competitor activity
Participate in weekly/monthly sales meetings and periodic strategy meetings in conjunction with Area Sales Manager
About You
Proven track record in Account Management / Sales managing large accounts
Self-motivated / driven and the ability to work autonomously and think on your feet
Exceptional communication / presentation skills with a strong customer focus and understanding of the sales process
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Work within a local cohesive team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Experience in successfully delivering on weekly, monthly and yearly KPI's
Previous experience within Rental Solutions or Power Generation would be an advantage or exposure to the rental industry
Possession of a current and valid driving license
