As a Business Development Executive within the LifeTech Sales team, you will be responsible for driving incremental new business to DLL by both Relationship Management and Business Development activity, across a mix of DLL's global and local healthcare and technology partnerships, and direct customers, in both Australia and New Zealand. The role will also be a key liaison on designated accounts with internal departments of DLL including Sales Support, Credit, Operations, Client Services, Collections, Legal, Finance and Asset Management.
The role will be directly responsible for key designated accounts, with an individual sales target. Typical KPIs will include new business volume, margin and other income, partner satisfaction, call activity, and compliance.
Day to dayExpand and maintain existing partnerships through proactive relationship management. Increase new business volume and DLL share of partner business, through regular call cycles, problem solving, and process improvements.Develop and execute program management strategies to exceed sales budgets in place for existing partners including new business volume, margin and fee income with pipeline management.Training and development of partner sales teams to ensure high levels of finance penetration and attraction of a high-quality customer base.Handle first-line escalation for non-standard enquiries, including pricing, changes in Terms & Conditions, priority deal management and settlement exceptions. Also act as first-line support for partner queries on deal status for designated accounts and other matters.Work with partners to drive efficiencies and process improvement, in particular to streamline the handling of incoming applications, approvals and settlements as required.Work with customers direct to meet their broader finance requirements, that also fall outside of DLL-partner-led business.Identify and resolve problems before they impact on the vendor and/or their customers.All members enjoy Two working days per year volunteering for a local charity.Health and Wellness program including healthy food, free health checks, fun health & vitality activities.Flexible hours with possibility to work from home.Your profileMinimum 7 years experience in a vendor or channel-focused finance sales / business development role, including success in developing new partner programs.Strong understanding of equipment financing in the technology and healthcare markets, including a high technical competence in equipment finance products and associated processes.Deadline driven, and with excellent time management skills.Self-starter, able to self-motivate and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with an adaptive approach.Positive, can-do attitude is essential with a high attention to detail and a strong compliance focus.A growth mindset, with proven ability to constantly improve oneself.High level of interpersonal skills, including an ability to develop close relationships at all levels, and across new referral partners, existing partner contacts, and DLL internal (local and global) stakeholders.Demonstrated experience in identifying customer needs and going above expectations in delivering solutions that exceed expectations.Good to knowThe selection process may involve an assessment.Applications via email will not be reviewed.
